Multi-channel marketing is undoubtedly having an effect on print runs, but it’s not all negative, particularly for emerging digital print technologies.
Between February and March 2014, the BPIF conducted an online research study, commissioned by Neopost, to investigate the current challenges and future direction of the UK Printing Industry, with a particular focus on the effect of the rise of multichannel marketing.
The findings were incorporated into a report entitled “The UK Printing Industry – Future Focus”, which was the result of in-depth research from 83 print companies with a combined turnover of £616 million, and employing a total of 4,737 people.
