New markets, new products

Almost a year on from installation, Fujifilm’s Acuity LED 3200R has enabled Alsdorf-based LOGO Werbetechnik to move into new markets and massively increase its product offering to existing customers. One of the most significant of these new markets is inflatable displays. “Because the ink used in the Acuity LED 3200R is LED cured,” explains Managing Director Manfred Bertram, “we’re able to print to heat-sensitive materials we couldn’t have previously considered, opening up a world of possibility for producing printed textiles for inflatable displays.”

Quality, flexibility, value

“It ticks all the right boxes. At 3.2 metres, it gives us the width we need as well as the ability to print two rolls simultaneously, speeding up production. The price was right, the quality is exceptional and we have a huge amount of respect for Fujifilm as a company and a brand.”

Productivity boost

Not only did they see an increase in quality after installation, but this came with a reduction in job turnaround times and a corresponding increase in productivity. “We’re delivering jobs we couldn’t have before this investment,” says Bertram. “For instance, we recently had to print nearly 400m2 for one customer at short notice and the ability to print two roles simultaneously was the only thing that made it possible.”

Leading the market

“The Acuity 3200R was a brand new machine when we started looking at it, there were none installed anywhere in Europe. That suited us perfectly. Ever since we founded the company, we have kept a close eye on technological developments and are always looking for the next product that can help us to offer something that our competitors can’t.”
